I’m Madhurya Gandi, a Senior Software Development Engineer at Microsoft, based in the Seattle area.

My work and interests center on distributed systems, databases, reliability, and fault-tolerant infrastructure. Before Microsoft, I worked at AWS.

This site is a small systems lab: interactive explanations of ideas that are easier to understand when you can change a condition and watch the result. Each model states its assumptions and points back to primary sources.
